Data Analyst (Finance)

Compensation and location

• Salary is £50,000-£55,000 per year.
• The role is described as London-based with hybrid and flexible working.

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Own finance reporting and management information.
• Maintain forecasting, cash flow, and business planning models.
• Reconcile data across Xero, SQL, and Power BI.
• Analyse patient activity, contract performance, volumes, and financial outcomes.
• Produce leadership reporting on cash, contracts, patient volumes, forecasts, and business performance.
• Investigate data discrepancies and improve data quality.
• Build reports and improve reporting processes.
• Partner with Finance and IT to improve analytical capability.

Requirements

• Strong finance analysis or finance stakeholder support background.
• Strong SQL, Power BI, and Excel skills.
• Experience with large datasets and reconciliations.
• Ability to turn data into meaningful commercial insight.
• Strong attention to detail.

Preferred experience

• Experience with Xero is desirable.
• Healthcare, NHS, or service-based business experience is desirable.
• Experience in a growing or scale-up environment is desirable.
