Join the growing team in Dubai as an experienced Cost Controller focused on construction cost control, budgeting, financial forecasting, and project profitability.
Responsibilities
- Monitor project budgets, actual costs, commitments, and financial performance.
- Prepare monthly cost reports, profitability analyses, and cost-to-complete forecasts.
- Analyze material consumption, labor productivity, and equipment costs; identify overruns, risks, and cost-optimization opportunities.
- Review procurement commitments and subcontractor costs against approved budgets; coordinate reconciliations with Finance and project teams.
- Prepare consolidated cost dashboards and management reports; support final reconciliation and project closeout.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
- 7–10 years of construction cost-control experience; experience with a main contractor is preferred.
- Proven UAE/GCC construction project experience.
- Strong knowledge of BOQs, budgeting, procurement, subcontracting, and project cost management.
- Advanced MS Excel skills and construction ERP experience.
- Power BI and earned-value analysis knowledge are advantageous.
- Strong analytical, reporting, and communication skills.
