Senior Contracts Engineer role based in Dubai, focused on large-scale construction projects, including high-rise buildings, luxury villas, and residential developments.
The ideal candidate has experience working with major developers and consultants in the UAE.
Responsibilities
- Manage and administer construction contracts from award to completion; review contract documents, specifications, BOQs, and contractual obligations.
- Handle variations, claims, EOTs, contractual notices, and payment applications.
- Prepare and manage contractual correspondence with developers, consultants, and subcontractors.
- Review and evaluate subcontractor claims, variations, and payment applications.
- Monitor project progress, contractual risks, delays, and potential claims.
- Support negotiations, dispute resolution, and preparation of final accounts.
- Coordinate with Project Management, Commercial, Planning, Procurement, and Finance teams.
- Ensure compliance with contractual requirements and submission deadlines.
Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Contracts Management, or a related field.
- At least 8 years of relevant contracts experience with a main contractor.
- Mandatory UAE/Dubai construction experience and current residence in Dubai/UAE.
- Proven experience in large-scale high-rise and villa/residential projects and with major UAE developers and consultants.
- Strong knowledge of FIDIC contracts, claims, variations, EOT, and subcontract administration.
- Strong negotiation, communication, analytical, and documentation skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and Word.
Pay
- AED 17,000–21,000 per month.
