Job responsibilities
- Conduct daily site inspections of civil construction activities.
- Check work against approved drawings, specifications, standards, and finishing requirements.
- Inspect reinforcement, formwork, concrete pouring, and structural work.
- Verify material and workmanship quality on site.
- Prepare internal and external inspection requests with engineers and consultants.
- Report non-conformances and ensure corrective actions are followed up.
- Maintain inspection records and QA/QC documentation; support material testing and laboratory coordination.
- Ensure compliance with project quality procedures and standards.
- Coordinate with site engineers and subcontractors on quality compliance.
- Assist with final inspections and project handover; check finishing quality against requirements.
- Participate in site quality audits and inspections and support QA/QC engineers and managers with reporting.
Job requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
- 3–7 years of experience in civil construction QA/QC inspection, including at least 3 years on UAE construction projects.
- Experience in building or villa projects and large-scale construction projects.
- Strong understanding of civil works inspections and quality standards.
- Experience with consultant and authority inspections.
- Knowledge of concrete works, reinforcement, finishing, and structural works.
Pay
- Pay is AED 6,000–9,000 per month.
