Responsibilities
- Ensure commercial resources are adequate for successful project delivery.
- Demonstrate strong commercial and technical knowledge while working as part of the Project Team.
- Maintain project risk registers, identify risks early, and ensure contingencies are in place to minimize risks.
- Implement and fully comply with NMDC commercial procedures at site level.
- Maximize cash flow through timely valuations, invoice submissions, and receipt of payment.
- Build commercial understanding and focus within project teams and lead by personal example.
- Manage the timely procurement of subcontractors.
- Manage the preparation of variations, claims, and disputes.
- Promote knowledge sharing and learning and develop a team able to think innovatively.
Requirements
- High level of commercial and technical knowledge.
- Ability to work as part of a project team and provide appropriate commercial leadership.
