Role description

Key responsibilities

• Lead luxury development construction from mobilization to handover; oversee plans, schedules, and resource strategies.
• Deliver high-end finishes, bespoke designs, and luxury specifications; oversee daily site operations and monitor progress, productivity, and workmanship.
• Identify risks and implement corrective measures; coordinate with clients, consultants, designers, contractors, engineering, procurement, QA/QC, and HSE teams.
• Communicate progress and issues to senior management; ensure work complies with approved drawings, specifications, UAE building codes, and quality standards.
• Enforce HSE policies, foster safety, and ensure risk assessments and method statements are implemented.
• Manage budgets and value engineering; review subcontractors, certify works for payment, and support contractual, commercial, and procurement matters.

Qualifications and experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• 20+ years of progressive construction project execution experience, including at least 8 years in senior management overseeing large-scale, complex projects.
• Proven delivery of luxury, high-end, or premium developments and projects in the UAE or GCC region.
• Expertise in construction methods, premium finishes, luxury execution, UAE construction regulations, and local authority requirements.
• Proficiency with project management software such as Primavera P6 or MS Project.
• Master’s degree, PMP, or equivalent advanced certifications are highly desirable.
• Strong leadership, decision-making, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills; able to manage complex priorities under pressure.

Work context

• The role oversees day-to-day construction site operations and requires delivery experience in Abu Dhabi.
