Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Senior Commercial Director role based in Dubai.

The Senior Commercial Director will lead the commercial strategy across key developments and investment projects, aligning revenue targets with broader business objectives.

Responsibilities

include overseeing commercial management activities such as pricing strategies, deal structuring, contract negotiations, and portfolio optimization.

The role will direct and support sales teams, set performance targets, and drive execution plans to maximize revenue and profitability.

The Senior Commercial Director will analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer insights to inform business planning and product positioning.

Day-to-day tasks also involve managing key client and partner relationships, collaborating with cross-functional teams (finance, marketing, and development), and preparing commercial reports and forecasts for senior leadership.

The role requires a hands-on approach in coaching teams, refining processes, and ensuring alignment with MARE Properties’ values and growth ambitions.

Qualifications

  • Strong Commercial Management and Sales skills, with a proven track record of driving revenue growth in real estate or a related sector.
  • Advanced Analytical Skills and Business Planning capabilities, including experience in forecasting, budgeting, and market analysis.
  • Demonstrated Team Management skills, with experience leading, mentoring, and developing high-performing commercial or sales teams.
  • Extensive experience in contract negotiation, deal structuring, and stakeholder management with investors, developers, and strategic partners.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Real Estate, or a related field; a relevant master’s degree or professional certification is an advantage.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence decisions at executive and board levels.
  • Deep understanding of the Dubai real estate market, regulatory environment, and investment landscape, or the ability to quickly acquire this knowledge.
  • High level of integrity, strategic thinking, and results orientation, with the capacity to work in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.
