Senior Civil Structural Engineer
Role Overview
Serve as the consultant's site-based technical representative for civil and structural engineering activities.

Serve as the consultant's site-based technical representative for civil and structural engineering activities.
Oversee site execution for compliance with approved design documents, contract specifications, authority regulations, and international standards.
Support quality assurance, coordination, progress reporting, and resolution of technical site issues.
Site supervision
- Conduct daily inspections of concrete, steel erection, foundations, retaining structures, waterproofing, and precast installations.
- Verify contractor work against approved shop drawings, IFC documents, method statements, and specifications.
- Review and approve shop drawings, method statements, RFIs, material submittals, and samples.
- Coordinate with the Resident Engineer and architectural, MEP, and safety teams.
- Raise and follow up on NCRs, SORs, and quality concerns.
- Attend coordination meetings and technical workshops with contractors and subcontractors.
Quality, progress, and handover
- Support authority inspections and ensure site documentation is ready.
- Monitor progress and workmanship; issue site memos for schedule or quality deviations.
- Supervise slump, cube, and rebar testing according to the ITP and project quality plan.
- Participate in snagging and de-snagging at milestones and before handover.
- Evaluate DLP complaints after handover and provide rectification instructions.
- Assist with monthly invoice review and validation of actual structural progress.
Experience
- Minimum 15 years of experience.
