Oversee construction activities and ensure contractor work complies with contract documents, authority regulations, and site requirements.

Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and guide project teams with minimal supervision.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and organize construction supervision activities and staffing with the Construction Supervision HOD.
- Monitor progress and report on time, cost, and quality expectations; administer construction contracts.
- Enforce health, safety, and environmental standards and site procedures.
- Manage project reports, non-conformities, corrective actions, logs, plans, drawings, specifications, change orders, and back-charge records.
- Provide technical guidance on scope, schedules, procedures, and on-site construction challenges.
- Lead design reviews for constructability, coordination, and material selection; manage design changes and approvals.
- Chair progress meetings, resolve issues, and safeguard stakeholder rights and obligations in contract management.
- Implement company quality management systems and comply with authority regulations and construction codes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Engineering.
- Master’s degree or PMP certification preferred.
- Certified Engineer with GCC engineering membership.
- Minimum 15 years of experience in a Resident Engineer role.
- Strong knowledge of local construction laws and regulations; familiarity with international and regional codes and standards.
- Proven commercial and contract management experience.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluent written and spoken English.
