Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and creative Senior Chef to manage kitchen operations in a café setting.
The role focuses on delivering high-quality breakfast, sandwiches, light meals, and beverages while maintaining consistency, efficiency, and food safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily kitchen operations in the café
- Prepare and ensure consistency of café menu items (sandwiches, breakfast, salads, light meals)
- Develop and update menu offerings based on trends and customer preferences
- Supervise and train kitchen staff
- Ensure food quality, presentation, and portion control
- Maintain hygiene, sanitation, and food safety standards
- Manage inventory, ordering, and minimize food wastage
- Work closely with management for promotions and seasonal menus
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Senior Chef or Chef in a café or casual dining concept
- Strong knowledge of breakfast, sandwiches, and light café-style dishes
- Leadership and team management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
- Good organizational and time management skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in specialty coffee shop or modern café concept
- Knowledge of healthy menu options or basic nutrition is a plus
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: AED3,499.00 - AED3,500.00 per month
