Key Duties and Responsibilities of a Restaurant Manager
1. Staff Management
- Hire, train, and supervise staff (servers, cooks, bartenders, etc.)
- Schedule shifts
- Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and workplace safety
- Implement disciplinary actions and performance development
2. Customer Service
- Ensure a high standard of customer satisfaction
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues efficiently
- Monitor customer feedback and reviews to improve service
3. Financial Management
- Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting
- Monitor expenses and profitability
- Control food, beverage, and labor costs
- Manage cash handling, POS systems, and bank deposits
- Manage delivery payments, online and on calls.
4. Inventory and Supplies
- Order food, beverages, and other supplies
- Monitor stock levels and reduce waste
- Work with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely deliveries
5. Compliance and Safety
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards
- Coordinate with local health departments and pass inspections
6. Marketing and Promotion
- Implement marketing campaigns and promotional events
- Maintain an active social media presence
- Build customer loyalty programs
- Use Emails as communication .
7. Operational Oversight
- Supervise day-to-day operations of the restaurant
- Maintain equipment and schedule repairs when needed
- Develop and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs)
8. Strategic Planning
- Analyze restaurant performance and identify areas for improvement
- Set sales goals and develop plans to meet them
- Introduce new menu items in collaboration with chefs
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED4,500.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
