Job Title: Head Chef (Pizza Specialist)
Location: Abu Dhabi
Employment Type: Full-Time
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Chef with strong expertise in pizza preparation and kitchen management. The ideal candidate will lead the kitchen operations, ensure consistent food quality, and bring creativity to our pizza menu while maintaining high standards of hygiene and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily kitchen operations and manage kitchen staff
- Specialize in preparing high-quality pizzas (Neapolitan, New York, or other styles as required)
- Develop and innovate pizza recipes, dough techniques, and menu offerings
- Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and portion control
- Maintain food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards at all times
- Monitor inventory, control food costs, and manage supplier relationships
- Train and mentor kitchen staff to maintain performance standards
- Coordinate with management on menu planning and seasonal updates
- Ensure smooth kitchen workflow during peak hours
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Head Chef
- Strong knowledge of pizza dough preparation, fermentation, baking techniques, and ovens (wood-fired, gas, or electric)
- Ability to manage a team and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and kitchen best practices
- Creative mindset with attention to detail
- Good communication and leadership skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Culinary diploma or relevant certification
- Experience in international or high-volume restaurants
- Knowledge of cost control and kitchen budgeting
