Produce and maintain CAD drawings, plans, and technical schematics, including sewer-related work, to support projects and documentation.
Responsibilities
- Produce, revise, and maintain detailed CAD drawings, plans, and technical schematics.
- Support business setup projects, facility layouts, and related documentation.
- Interpret design requirements and translate concepts into accurate technical drawings.
- Coordinate with consultants and internal teams and ensure drawings meet regulatory and client specifications.
- Manage CAD standards, organize drawing files, and quality-check technical documentation.
- Guide junior colleagues and coordinate with project managers and legal or technical experts.
- Ensure drawings are complete, compliant, and delivered on schedule.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience as a CAD Technician or in a similar role; senior-level experience in consulting, engineering, or construction is preferred.
- Advanced CAD proficiency, including 2D and 3D drafting and modeling; examples include AutoCAD and Revit.
- Technical support and troubleshooting skills for CAD software and related systems.
- Experience maintaining and repairing computers and a solid understanding of operating systems.
- Attention to detail, accurate documentation, and ability to interpret technical specifications and plans.
- Communication, collaboration, and mentoring skills.
- Relevant technical diploma or degree in Drafting, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- Familiarity with UAE building standards, regulations, or local authority submissions is advantageous.
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects, meet deadlines, and maintain organized digital archives.
