Full-time, on-site Draftsman-Sewer role based in Abu Dhabi Emirate, United Arab Emirates.
Prepares sewer network drawings and plans in coordination with engineers and project managers.
Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed sewer network drawings, layouts and plans using industry-standard CAD software.
- Interpret design specifications, revise drawings based on technical feedback and maintain drawing records.
- Ensure designs comply with local regulatory and safety standards; review and revise sewer plans.
- Work with field teams to incorporate site measurements and support permit and approval documentation.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary stakeholders, meet deadlines and contribute to quality control of sewer drafting work.
Qualifications
- Strong technical drafting proficiency for sewer and infrastructure projects, including CAD software such as AutoCAD or similar tools.
- Interpret engineering drawings, specifications and survey data to produce accurate sewer layouts and construction plans.
- Knowledge of sewerage, drainage and civil infrastructure standards and basic hydraulic principles.
- Relevant technical diploma or degree in drafting, civil engineering or a related discipline; UAE sewer or utility drafting experience is an advantage.
- Organized and detail-oriented, able to manage drawing revisions and documentation and collaborate effectively with engineers, site teams and regulatory authorities.
- Able to work on-site in Abu Dhabi, meet project timelines and follow health, safety and environmental procedures.
