Senior Business Analyst in RBC's Funding, Treasury and Liquidity Program in Toronto, reporting to a Product Owner on a global development team.
Work covers pre-trade and post-trade functions in the Central Funding Group.
ATOM is a global front-office analytics, risk, and trade order management platform; Apex supports repo and securities lending books and records.
What you'll do
- Deliver enhancements to Apex and ATOM and provide day-to-day application support to traders and back-office users.
- Participate in the full development lifecycle, including requirements workshops, ad hoc sessions, and test-result sign-off before deployment.
- Work with senior leadership, traders, and technology teams across the organization.
Must-have qualifications
- Business Analyst experience with front-office and back-office teams and requirements gathering for front-office users.
- Detailed knowledge of repo and securities lending markets, including front office, settlements, and collateral management.
- Ability to translate business requirements for developers and explain technical issues to non-technical users.
- In-depth knowledge of a repo trading platform.
- Strong communication and ability to work within global teams across locations and time zones.
Nice-to-have qualifications
- Understanding of P&L valuations and risk calculation methods.
- Understanding of the Apex infrastructure.

Employment details
