Role overview

CGI is seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst for future ERP transformation and implementation opportunities.

The role works with business stakeholders, project teams, and technical teams to understand needs, define requirements, analyze processes, and support enterprise solution delivery.

The opportunity is suited to candidates with extensive experience on complex ERP implementation or transformation initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Lead business analysis throughout ERP implementation and transformation initiatives.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand objectives, challenges, processes, and requirements; facilitate workshops and requirements sessions.
  • Document and manage business, functional, and non-functional requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Analyze current-state processes and help define future-state processes; translate business needs into clear requirements and specifications.
  • Collaborate with business, technical, project management, and ERP implementation teams to support solution delivery.
  • Support testing and validation, including user acceptance testing, requirements traceability, and issue resolution.
  • Identify requirements gaps, dependencies, risks, and impacts and communicate them to appropriate stakeholders.
  • Support business readiness and implementation activities throughout the project lifecycle.

Required qualifications

  • 8+ years of professional business analysis experience, including senior-level Business Analyst capacities.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting ERP implementation, transformation, or modernization initiatives.
  • Experience gathering, analyzing, documenting, and managing complex business and functional requirements.
  • Experience facilitating workshops and requirements sessions with business and technical stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of process analysis, process mapping, and current- and future-state analysis.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams throughout systems development or implementation.
  • Experience supporting testing, including user acceptance testing and requirements validation.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement, facilitation, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English with business and technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work effectively in a hybrid work environment.

Assets

  • Public sector or government environment experience is preferred.
  • Experience contributing to large-scale business transformation or enterprise modernization initiatives is an asset.

Compensation

  • The stated estimated pay range is $65,000–$130,000; no compensation cadence is specified.
