Our Consultant Accounting & Tax Solutions Business Unit provides expert services in corporate tax, VAT compliance, accounting, ESR, and financial reporting to clients across the UAE and GCC.
Backed by a team of professionals, we deliver practical, compliant, and client-focused solutions to help businesses thrive in a dynamic regulatory environment.
Key Responsibilities
1.
Review VAT data, transaction listings, invoices, and supporting documentation for accuracy and completeness.
2.
Sort, organize, and maintain tax documentation required for VAT returns, refund applications, and FTA submissions.
3.
Prepare VAT workings, reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
4.
Prepare and file VAT returns in compliance with UAE VAT regulations.
5.
Prepare and submit VAT refund applications.
6.
Liaise with the Federal Tax Authority on client matters, queries, clarifications, and submissions.
7.
Assist in the preparation and filing of annual UAE Corporate Tax returns.
8.
Advise clients on routine tax queries related to VAT, Corporate Tax, and other tax matters.
9.
Prepare tax memos, tax briefs, technical notes, presentations, and client deliverables.
10.
Assist clients in the preparation and review of financial statements.
11.
Monitor changes in UAE tax landscape
12.
Deputize for management when required, including managing assignments and supervising junior team members.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- CA Finalist / ACCA Finalist.
- Articleship completed from a reputed category A firm.
- Minimum 3 years of tax experience, including at least 2 years in indirect taxes.
- Experience or knowledge of UAE VAT and UAE Corporate Tax will be highly preferable.
- Knowledge of UAE VAT, indirect tax compliance, and UAE corporate tax.
- Ability to review VAT data, invoices, transaction listings, and supporting documentation.
- Strong drafting skills for tax memos, briefs, client emails, and technical notes.
- Good in English, both written and verbal.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and workings.
- Strong proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to manage multiple engagements and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and coordinate effectively with clients and internal teams.
