Advise CIOs, CTOs, and Enterprise Architects on modernization roadmaps, API strategies, event-driven architectures, and workflow automation across hybrid cloud environments.

Serve as the senior technical authority for IBM Integration, API Management, Messaging, and Automation solutions within GBM’s IBM Business Unit.

Advise CIOs, CTOs, and Enterprise Architects on modernization roadmaps, API strategies, event-driven architectures, and workflow automation across hybrid cloud environments.
Job responsibilities
- Lead enterprise integration and automation architecture engagements; define API-first, microservices, and event-driven modernization strategies.
- Shape complex deals from technical discovery to closure; develop solution blueprints, HLD/LLD artifacts, and sizing documentation.
- Position IBM Integration Suite, webMethods Hybrid Integration, API Connect, MQ, Event Streams, and Business Automation solutions.
- Collaborate with IBM and Red Hat teams on co-sell and joint GTM initiatives; deliver enablement sessions and reusable reference architectures.
- Support competitive positioning against MuleSoft, Oracle, SAP, and Microsoft integration platforms.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 10+ years of enterprise IT experience and 7+ years in Integration, Middleware, or Automation architecture roles.
- Experience in the UAE enterprise market is preferred.
- Deep expertise in API-led, ESB, microservices, and event-driven integration patterns.
- Strong understanding of hybrid cloud and container platforms; OpenShift is preferred.
- Experience leading complex enterprise technical sales cycles and engaging CxOs and Enterprise Architects.
- Strong commercial acumen and disciplined opportunity management.
Preferred expertise
- Hands-on IBM Integration Suite, webMethods, API Connect, MQ, and Event Streams experience.
- Red Hat OpenShift and containerized middleware deployments; Business Automation Workflow and RPA knowledge.
- IBM certifications in Integration, Automation, or Hybrid Cloud are preferred.
