Role overview

Win opportunities

• Analyze RFPs, RFIs, and SOWs; build compliance matrices and gap analyses; flag risks and scoring drivers.
• Shape win themes, competitive battlecards, and clarification questions within tender deadlines.
• Write technical proposals for government evaluation committees.

Design solutions

• Design end-to-end Data & AI architectures spanning ingestion, Lakehouse, governance, model serving, and agent orchestration.
• Size on-premises, hybrid, sovereign, and air-gapped platforms, including GPU and OpenShift capacity.
• Address UAE data residency, Arabic/bilingual support, and federal AI gateway constraints.

Demonstrate and engage

• Build client-specific demonstrations and proofs of concept on watsonx Orchestrate, watsonx.ai, and watsonx.data.
• Develop Python tools, connectors, and MCP servers; lead client demonstrations and proof-of-concept evaluations.
• Lead discovery workshops and executive briefings, and present at company events for C-level audiences.
• Equip account managers with pitch materials; hand documented solutions over to delivery teams.

Technology stack

• Agents and automation: watsonx Orchestrate, ADK, AgentOps, ODM, and Cloud Pak for Business Automation.
• AI models and governance: watsonx.ai, IBM Granite, sovereign Arabic LLMs such as Jais, and watsonx.governance.
• Data platforms: watsonx.data, watsonx.data intelligence, Cloud Pak for Data, and Cloudera.
• Platform: Red Hat OpenShift.

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
• 7+ years in data, analytics, or AI, including at least 4 years in customer-facing pre-sales or solution architecture.
• Proven record winning large public-sector or enterprise bids and owning technical responses end to end.
• Hands-on IBM watsonx or Cloud Pak for Data experience is mandatory.
• Practical GenAI and agentic AI knowledge, including LLMs, RAG, vector stores, embeddings, orchestration, and tool calling.
• Data engineering background with Lakehouse, ETL/ELT, streaming, catalogues, and lineage; Python for tools, integrations, and demo data.
• Experience with Kubernetes/OpenShift and on-premises or air-gapped environments.
• Excellent written and spoken English, business-focused communication, and comfort with tight tender deadlines.

Preferred qualifications

• Arabic (spoken and written); IBM watsonx certifications or IBM Technical Sales badges.
• Red Hat OpenShift, AWS, Azure, IBM Cloud, or TOGAF certifications.
• UAE federal procurement and ICV scoring; AI regulation including UAE policies, EU AI Act, ISO/IEC 42001, or NIST AI RMF.
• MCP, A2A protocols, Microsoft Graph, or SAP OData experience.
