Overview

We have an urgent requirement for Senior Application Support Engineer – Lending Systems in banking domain is required for our banking clients in Abu Dhabi ,UAE

Strong, hands-on experience with Lending domain systems: LendPerfect, Intellect, and Oracle-based loan/card platforms.--

IBM WebSphere administration & Unix/RHEL and Java ,IBM (MQ),Oracle Database , Rest API--MustUnix/RHEL and Java knowledge for application support.--

Overview

  • Role focuses on production support and change delivery for Lending (Loan Onboarding) and Cards platforms using LendPerfect, Intellect, and Oracle-based systems in a 24x7 environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents by coordinating with vendors and internal IT; manage end-to-end issue resolution.
  • Support SIT/UAT, ensure smooth cutover from projects to production, and provide hypercare.
  • Review vendor solutions for alignment with technical and project requirements.
  • Guide business users on system functionality and capabilities.
  • Drive Problem and Change Management activities and maintain runbooks/knowledge base.

Skill Set

  • Strong, hands-on experience with Lending domain systems: LendPerfect, Intellect, and Oracle-based loan/card platforms.
  • IBM WebSphere administration and deployment workflows.
  • Unix/RHEL and Java knowledge for application support.
  • Oracle Database 19c: SQL development and performance tuning.
  • Messaging: IBM MQ (queues), Topics, and related messaging frameworks.
  • Basic knowledge/usage of REST APIs and MQ queues within integrations.
  • Solid grasp of ITIL processes: Incident, Problem, and Change Management.
  • Ability to operate in a 24x7 production support environment and handle high-pressure situations; excellent coordination with vendors and cross-functional IT teams.

Experience

  • Minimum 3 years in IT within banking, including 1–2 years directly handling application systems and technical production support for lending/card platforms.
