Job Overview

Mandatory Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Dynatrace APM Administration
• Expertise in Application Performance Monitoring (APM), Digital Experience Monitoring (DEM), and Synthetic Monitoring
• Experience in Dynatrace Dashboard Creation and Management
• Strong knowledge of ActiveGate and OneAgent installation, configuration, and administration
• Experience in Dynatrace monitoring customization, including Service Naming Rules, Request Naming Rules, and Monitoring Policies
• Hands-on experience in Dynatrace permissions management, DDU consumption monitoring, and user access management
• Experience in deploying OneAgent Site Extensions for cloud service monitoring
• Expertise in monitoring production environments, databases, servers, and enterprise applications
• Experience integrating Dynatrace with ITSM tools
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Linux, UNIX, and AIX
• Good understanding of SQL Server, Oracle Database, Network Infrastructure, and Storage Devices
• Ability to collaborate with application, infrastructure, and business teams to implement enterprise monitoring solutions

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain the Dynatrace platform, including APM, DEM, and Synthetic Monitoring.
• Design, develop, and maintain customized monitoring dashboards for application teams, management, and business stakeholders.
• Configure advanced monitoring settings, including service detection, request naming, tagging, alerting, and monitoring rules.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot ActiveGate and OneAgent across physical, virtual, and cloud environments.
• Deploy OneAgent extensions to enable deep monitoring for cloud-based services.
• Manage Dynatrace user roles, permissions, licensing, and DDU utilization.
• Integrate Dynatrace with enterprise ITSM platforms for incident and event management.
• Configure monitoring policies for production servers, databases, applications, and infrastructure components.
• Analyze application performance issues and recommend performance improvements.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, database, application, and operations teams to ensure end-to-end monitoring coverage.
• Ensure high availability and optimal performance of the Dynatrace monitoring environment.

Good-To-Have Skills

• Experience with SolarWinds Monitoring Tool

• Dynatrace Associate Certification

• Exposure to enterprise cloud monitoring environments
• Knowledge of monitoring best practices and automation
