Overview

We have an urgent requirement for – Systems Engineer -Window Server aligned with Wintel Squad in banking domain is required for our banking clients in Abu Dhabi ,UAE

Job Purpose

To manage, maintain and ensure the secure compliance of Windows Server environment in align with Wintel Squad.

The role is responsible for Windows Server Operations and management, high availability, patch management, security

hardening

and remediation of vulnerabilities in coordination with respective stakeholders.

Security, Compliance & Hardening

  • Implement Security baseline hardening in line with organizational standards
  • Ensure compliance with internal and regulatory security frameworks
  • Review and work with compliance team to finalize and implement baseline security controls for Windows Server Operating Systems and IIS versions

Patch & Vulnerability Management

  • Coordinate and execute patching activities for Windows Server environment
  • Work with enterprise patching tools such as Ivanti, etc.
  • Maintain and document the patch execution and patching exception tracker.
  • Collaborate with the Vulnerability Management team to analyze and remediate findings from Qualys reports
  • Track, prioritize, and close security vulnerabilities within defined timelines
  • Execute the Vulnerability remediation activities in aligning with stakeholders.

Collaboration & Coordination

  • Work closely with application, infrastructure, and security teams
  • Work in alignment with change and release management process
  • Work Alignment with SOPs, documentation, and audit readiness artifacts

On-Call Support

  • Actively participate in 24x7 on-call rotation, providing support for critical incidents
  • Ensure timely resolution of production issues and service restoration

Required Qualifications & Competencies

  • 4-6 years in Windows Server administration, Active Directory security, and enterprise patch management
  • Good communication and coordination skills
  • Experience in large enterprise or banking environments
  • Exposure to regulatory and audit frameworks
  • Knowledge of Enterprise monitoring and automation tools
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ownership and accountability
  • Effective stakeholder management and teamwork
  • Skills: windows,wintel,squad
