Senior Analyst, Data Platform DevOps

Opportunity

Responsibilities

• Build, configure, monitor, and support the Modern Data Platform and integrated services.
• Partner across product, architecture, cloud, governance, and application teams to deliver scalable platform capabilities.
• Develop CI/CD pipelines, automation frameworks, developer tooling, and operational processes.
• Support Azure infrastructure and platform services, optimizing performance, availability, security, and cost.
• Monitor platform health and troubleshoot incidents and operational issues.
• Design Infrastructure as Code solutions and support data integration, ingestion, and processing.
• Improve observability with monitoring, logging, alerting, and operational dashboards.
• Evaluate technologies, recommend improvements, and maintain documentation, runbooks, and procedures.
• Collaborate within Agile and DevOps delivery models to support continuous improvement.

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• 6+ years supporting and operating enterprise technology platforms, data platforms, or cloud-based solutions.
• 6+ years of software development experience, including proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Strong cloud technology experience, particularly Microsoft Azure, and experience building and supporting CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Hands-on experience with data engineering, streaming technologies, modern data platforms, and Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or similar.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience with one or more of Databricks, Snowflake, Kafka, Spark, Hadoop, Delta Lake, Azure Data Factory, Apache Airflow, Collibra, Power BI, or Tableau.
• Cloud engineering, data engineering, DevOps, or IT service management certification is preferred.
• Experience with highly available real-time processing platforms, cloud-native architectures, data governance, data quality, or enterprise data management is preferred.
• Familiarity with investment management, financial services, or capital markets is preferred.
