Senior AI Engineer

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and integrate AI/ML and computer vision solutions for real-time and edge platforms.
• Develop algorithms for object detection, tracking, recognition, and classification.
• Work on video analytics, sensor fusion, navigation, and autonomous systems.
• Develop production-quality C++ and Python software; deploy and optimize AI models on GPU and edge platforms.
• Integrate AI solutions with embedded systems, sensors, and hardware/software interfaces.
• Perform software design, development, integration, testing, verification, and debugging.
• Collaborate across AI, software, embedded, systems, hardware, and testing teams.
• Contribute to architecture, technical decisions, and programme milestones; follow V-model, quality, and safety-critical processes.

Basic qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 8–10+ years of relevant hands-on engineering experience.
• Strong C++ and Python programming and strong AI/ML and computer vision experience.
• Experience with deep-learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Hands-on embedded and/or real-time systems experience.
• Strong Linux, Git, and Docker experience.
• Experience taking AI/ML solutions from development through integration and production deployment.
• Strong software development, debugging, and system integration experience.

Preferred qualifications

• NVIDIA Jetson and GPU optimization experience is preferred.
• ROS 2 experience is preferred.
• Sensor fusion, autonomous navigation or guidance, and reinforcement learning knowledge is preferred.
• Aerospace, defence, UAV/UGV, robotics, or autonomous systems experience is preferred.
• Real-time Linux, embedded AI, safety-critical standards, and hardware/software interface experience are preferred.
• Technical leadership, system design, and software architecture experience is preferred.

Language

• English proficiency is required for all roles unless otherwise stated.
