Overview

We are looking to hire an

Senior Executive – Statutory Reporting

who will be assisting in preparing and ensuring the accuracy and compliance of statutory financial statements and reports for our client based in

Dubai

which is

one of the largest companies in the region

.

This position is a contract role with an initial duration of

6 months

and is

renewable.

We are looking for a passionate

Senior Executive – Statutory Reporting

about the

financial reporting & accounting standards.

You should also have experience in statutory reporting and possess in depth knowledge of

IFRS and other relevant finance reporting standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review statutory financial statements in accordance with IFRS 15.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant statutory and regulatory requirements.
  • Support and coordinate with external auditors for annual audits and provide necessary documentation and support.
  • Assist in the interpretation and implementation of new accounting standards and regulations.
  • Ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial reporting by implementing and maintaining robust internal controls.
  • Identify areas for process improvements and recommend solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with various departments to gather necessary information for statutory reporting.
  • Prepare regulatory reports and filings in compliance with local and international regulations.
  • Stay updated with changes in accounting and regulatory standards and ensure timely adoption and implementation.
  • Knowledge, skills & experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field or CPA, ACCA, or equivalent qualification is preferred.
  • Minimum of 2-4 years of UAE experience in statutory reporting, preferably within a multinational organization or a public accounting/audit firm.
  • In-depth knowledge of IFRS and other relevant accounting standards.
  • Proficiency in financial reporting software and ERP systems.
  • Advanced Excel skills for financial analysis and reporting.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.

  • Preference will be given to candidates available immediately or a maximum 30 days after accepting the offer.
  • We are looking for a candidate who will be able to work in United Arab Emirates.
