Role overview

Manage the end-to-end Accounts Receivable function for international customers.

Support accurate, timely invoicing, effective collections, strong cash flow, low bad-debt risk, and customer relationships across countries and time zones.

AR operations and billing

  • Review global customer aging balances, identify customers exceeding contractual terms, monitor DSO targets and collection KPIs, and forecast short- and long-term cash inflows.
  • Prepare management reports and ensure invoice accuracy and compliance with local and international tax/VAT regulations.
  • Deliver invoices on time with customer-specific supporting documents and coordinate invoice and debit/credit note queries with customers and Billing.

Collections and disputes

  • Run structured collections in line with the Credit and Collection Policy; follow up by official email, phone, and virtual customer meetings.
  • Track payments and overdue accounts, apply payments accurately, reconcile accounts, and obtain periodic balance confirmations.
  • Identify cash-flow risks and mitigation plans; coordinate with Sales, Billing, Finance, and Treasury to accelerate collections and improve working capital.
  • Negotiate payment plans with customers in default; resolve or escalate billing disputes and address root causes with relevant teams.

Credit, controls, and reporting

  • Assess customer creditworthiness using financial information, trade references, and credit reports; set credit limits and payment terms under company policy and regional risk assessments.
  • Monitor credit risk and flag high-risk accounts to Finance and Sales leadership.
  • Define AR procedures, service-level agreements, and internal controls; maintain audit readiness, support internal and external audits, and implement corrective actions.
  • Serve as primary AR contact for key global customers, auditors, and senior Finance stakeholders.
  • Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports on aging, cash forecasts, bad-debt provisions, and regional customer performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Fluent English proficiency and excellent written and verbal communication skills are mandatory.
  • Three to five years of experience in logistics, transportation, supply chain, or related industries is highly preferred.
  • Experience with ERP systems; Oracle Fusion is preferred.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and financial modeling skills.
  • Familiarity with international trade terms and documentation.
