📢 Job Opportunity: Accountant – Arabic Speaker (E-Commerce)

📍 Location: Jeddah, Saudi Arabia

We are looking for a detail-oriented and commercially aware Accountant (Arabic Speaker) to join our growing e-commerce business in Jeddah. This role is ideal for candidates with strong accounting fundamentals and experience in online sales environments.

• 🔹 Role Summary

The Accountant will manage day-to-day financial operations, ensuring accurate reporting, proper reconciliation with online marketplaces and payment gateways, and full compliance with Saudi regulations.

You will work closely with internal teams and external partners, requiring strong communication skills in both Arabic and English.

🔹 Key Responsibilities

• Record daily transactions related to online sales, returns, shipping, and platform fees

• Reconcile sales, collections, and commissions across marketplaces and payment gateways

• Manage Accounts Receivable & Payable, including invoicing and vendor payments

• Perform bank and payment gateway reconciliations

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports (P&L, cash flow, margins)

• Ensure compliance with Saudi VAT and regulatory requirements (ZATCA)

• Communicate with partners and vendors (in Arabic) on reconciliation and tax matters

• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis

• Improve internal controls and accounting processes

• Collaborate with operations, marketing, and commercial teams

• Assist external auditors and provide required documentation

🔹 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

• 2–4 years of experience (preferably in e-commerce, retail, or trading)

• Fluent in Arabic (written & spoken); good English skills preferred

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and reconciliations

• Experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills

• Familiarity with Saudi VAT and compliance requirements

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

🔹 Preferred

• Experience with multi-channel e-commerce platforms

• Background in Saudi-based digital or online businesses
