Senior Accountant

Duties and responsibilities:

• Oversee the administration of Value Added Tax (VAT), Corporate Tax, and any future tax-related processes, while continuously evaluating and enhancing procedures through the implementation of best practices.
• Manage tax provisioning and compliance processes efficiently, ensuring the timely submission of tax returns and effective handling of audits, inquiries, and correspondence from the Federal Tax Authority (FTA).
• Prepare, analyze, and present financial reports, providing clear interpretation of financial data to support management decision-making.
• Collect, organize, verify, and process supplier invoices and supporting documentation.
• Perform accurate data entry for vouchers, accounting records, statements, reports, and other financial documents.
• Prepare and issue sales tax invoices and billing documentation in compliance with applicable regulations.
• Coordinate and oversee internal and external audits, ensuring full compliance with financial reporting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Identify potential financial risks and implement effective mitigation strategies to safeguard the organization’s financial stability and performance.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team, promoting a collaborative, efficient, and high-performing work environment.
• Prepare and deliver accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and analytical insights for management review, ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory standards.
• Manage end-to-end payroll processing, including overtime calculations, salary deductions in line with UAE Labour Law, and timely salary disbursement to employees

Requirements:

• Mandatory: Advance knowledge of Tally accounting software and ZOHO for efficient financial management
• Strong understanding of UAE accounting principles, tax regulations and financial reporting standards
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
• Proven experience with a minimum of 2-3 years in a leadership position
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Tools

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED6,000.00 - AED7,000.00 per month
