• ***Duties/Responsibilities:***
• Safely operate a heavy bus to transport passengers along assigned routes, ensuring adherence to all traffic laws and regulations
• Pick up and drop off passengers at designated stops in a timely and efficient manner
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the bus is clean, fueled, and in proper working condition
• Report any mechanical issues and coordinate with maintenance for regular servicing and repairs
• Follow company safety procedures and emergency protocols at all times
• Promptly report accidents, incidents, or delays through the designated system in accordance with company and legal requirements
• Perform other duties as assigned
• ***Required Skills/Abilities:***
• Valid UAE heavy vehicle driving license (Category 6 or equivalent for buses)
• Proven experience as a bus driver or heavy vehicle driver within the UAE
• Clean driving record with no major violations
• Strong knowledge of UAE roads, traffic laws, and designated bus routes
• Ability to operate large vehicles safely in various traffic and weather conditions
• Familiarity with GPS navigation systems and route planning
• Flexible to work shifts, including early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays
• Professional, courteous, and customer-service-oriented attitude
• Ability to remain calm and focused in high-traffic or emergency situations
• Strong time management, reliability, and organizational skills
• Good communication skills (basic English required; additional languages are an advantage)
