Duties and responsibilities
- Oversee the operation of Value Added Tax, Corporate Tax and any other future taxes related processes and procedures and recommend improvements to the procedures by developing or implementing best practices
- Manage tax provision and tax compliance process effectively and ensure timely filing of returns and handling responses to various audits/queries from the Federal Tax Authority
- Providing financial reports and interpreting financial information
- Collect, sort and check supplier invoices
- Data entry, including vouchers, accounting statements, other reports and records
- Prepare sales tax invoices/bills
- Coordinate and manage internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and reporting requirements
- Identify financial risks and implement strategies to mitigate them, ensuring the organisation's financial health is protected
- Lead and develop the finance team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture
- Prepare and present accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and analyses for management, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
- Manage payroll processing, including overtime calculations, salary deductions in accordance with UAE labor laws, and timely payments to employees
Requirements
- **Mandatory: Well-versed in Tally accounting software for efficient financial management**
- Strong understanding of UAE accounting principles, tax regulations and financial reporting standards
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- Proven experience with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership position. Preferably in the Construction field.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Tools
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED6,000.00 - AED7,000.00 per month
