For 10 years we have been successfully implementing our architectural projects on the world stage.
Due to fast growth and launching new projects, we are looking for **Senior Accountant** to join our team in Abu Dhabi.
Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee daily accounting operations including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Ensure compliance with UAE financial regulations, VAT laws, and company policies
- Handle VAT filings and liaise with the Federal Tax Authority
- Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and financial forecasting
- Review and reconcile property-related transactions (leases, service charges, escrow accounts, etc.)
- Coordinate with auditors for internal and external audits
- Analyze financial data and provide insights to senior management
- Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules
- Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CMA) is preferred
- Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in real estate or property management
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and UAE VAT regulations
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle)
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
