We are **Object 1 (object-1.com)**, a contemporary developer shaping the new world.

For over 10 years, we have been successfully delivering architectural and real estate projects on the global stage.
As we continue to grow and launch new developments, we are looking for a **General Accountant** to join our team in **Abu Dhabi**.
Responsibilities
- Maintain day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare monthly financial reports and assist with month-end and year-end closing
- Process invoices, payments, and journal entries
- Ensure compliance with UAE accounting standards, VAT regulations, and company policies
- Prepare and submit VAT returns
- Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies
- Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation
- Assist with budgeting, cash flow monitoring, and financial reporting
- Support internal and external audits
- Perform other accounting and administrative duties as required
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum **3 years** of accounting experience (experience in real estate is an advantage)
- Good knowledge of UAE VAT regulations and accounting principles
- Proficiency in accounting software/ERP systems and Microsoft Excel
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Good organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
