Senior Accountant

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, and treasury
• Lead month-end and year-end closing processes and ensure timely preparation of financial statements
• Ensure accuracy, completeness, and integrity of financial data within SAP ERP
• Review reconciliations, investigate discrepancies, and enforce internal controls
• Manage internal and external audits and ensure compliance with applicable regulations
• Supervise and guide the accounting team, ensuring quality and timeliness of work
• Monitor cash flow, banking activities, and working capital
• Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders on financial matters

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 7–10 years of relevant experience, including a supervisory role
• Russian language proficiency
• Strong hands-on experience with SAP ERP
• Solid understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and compliance
• Proficiency in MS Excel

Preferred

• Professional certification (ACCA, CPA, or equivalent)
• Experience in a multinational or multi-entity environment
