Senior Accountant

Role Purpose

Key Responsibilities

• Manage full accounting cycle including **Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), and month-end/year-end closing**
• Prepare and review **financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)**
• Handle **daily sales reconciliation, bank reconciliation, and cash flow monitoring**
• Ensure accurate recording of transactions in **Odoo ERP system**
• Manage **inventory accounting and cost of goods sold (COGS)**
• Monitor **food cost, wastage, and operational expenses**
• Ensure full **UAE VAT compliance and FTA reporting requirements**
• Support and coordinate **internal and external audits**
• Maintain strong **internal controls and financial discipline**
• Provide financial analysis and reporting to management for decision-making
• Supervise junior accounting staff and ensure accuracy of work

Requirements

• Minimum **5 years UAE accounting experience (mandatory)**
• Minimum **3 years F&B industry experience (mandatory)**
• Strong hands-on experience in **Odoo ERP or similar ERP systems (mandatory)**
• Solid knowledge of **UAE VAT and FTA regulations**
• Strong understanding of **inventory accounting and F&B cost control**
• Experience in **financial reporting and month-end closing**
• Advanced proficiency in **Microsoft Excel**
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced operational environment

• **UAE experience (minimum 5 years) is mandatory**
• **Odoo or ERP system experience is mandatory**
