Accounting and operations
- Maintain accurate books for trading and manufacturing operations across branches and prepare branch-wise profit and loss reports.
- Handle customer invoicing, collection follow-up, and ageing reports.
- Track post-dated cheques and returned cheques.
- Match supplier invoices with purchase orders and delivery notes, and process vendor payments.
- Maintain cost accounting for manufactured goods, including raw materials, production costs, and finished-goods valuation.
- Reconcile bank accounts, inter-branch balances, and inventory records, including raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished stock.
- Calculate landed costs on imported materials.
- Prepare monthly and year-end financial statements.
- Prepare and file VAT returns, and support Corporate Tax and audit requirements.
- Prepare MIS reports and variance analysis in Excel.
- Support and review the work of junior accounts staff.
Qualifications and experience
- Degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance; a Master's degree is an advantage.
- At least five years of accounting experience, especially in the UAE.
- Experience in both building-material manufacturing and trading is required.
- Knowledge of inventory and cost accounting in a manufacturing setup.
- Experience handling accounts for more than one branch is preferred.
- Working knowledge of UAE VAT, Corporate Tax, and IFRS.
- Hands-on experience with Tally, SAP, or a similar ERP system.
- Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables and lookups.
- Good attention to detail, communication skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
Pay
- AED 6,000–7,000 per month.

- Work location is in person in Dubai.
