Senior Accountant (AUTO INDUSTRY ONLY)

Role summary

Accounting and reporting

• Handles accounting duties for automotive sales and records vehicle purchase and sale transactions daily.
• Maintains and reconciles daily accounts, petty cash, and showroom financial activity; closes daily accounts and summarizes cash flow and transactions.
• Coordinates daily reporting with the department head; submits the active list and payment plan list by 11:00 AM daily.
• Prepares timely vehicle buying and sales reports and monthly P&L statements and other management reports.
• Maintains organized invoices, receipts, contracts, and financial records and ensures reports are complete.

Inventory and government procedures

• Updates the active vehicle inventory list daily; from 15 May 2026, the list must include photos of all vehicles.
• Updates purchased and sold vehicles in the active list immediately.
• Manages vehicle passing, registration, ownership transfer, and other RTA and government-related tasks.
• Submits daily reports directly to the designated manager covering police matters and fines, RTA matters and fines, traffic fines, and matters under senior management’s name.

Coordination

• Communicates with customers, suppliers, and management about financial matters.
• Coordinates with sales, finance, and operations departments.

Required qualifications

• At least 5 years of accounting experience in Dubai, specifically in an automotive showroom or car-sales environment.
• Strong understanding of RTA systems and related government procedures.
• Expert knowledge of P&L, cash-flow management, and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, filing and documentation skills, and professional communication.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict daily deadlines.

Pay

• AED 7,000–10,000 per month.

Workplace

• Full-time role based in Dubai; work location is in person.
