Key Responsibilities
- Supervise the daily work of the polishing team.
- Assign jobs and monitor work progress to meet delivery deadlines.
- Inspect vehicles after polishing to ensure they meet company quality standards.
- Ensure swirl marks, sanding marks, holograms, and other polishing defects are removed.
- Guide polishers in using correct methods, machines, compounds, and pads.
- Coordinate with body shop, paint shop, and detailing teams.
- Ensure vehicles are handled carefully to avoid damage during polishing.
- Maintain stock of polishing materials and notify management when supplies need replenishment.
- Ensure polishing machines and equipment are maintained in good working condition.
- Train new employees on polishing techniques, quality standards, and workshop procedures.
- Monitor employee performance and report issues to the Workshop Manager.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area and follow health and safety policies.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in automotive polishing, including at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Experience with luxury and premium vehicles is preferred.
- Good knowledge of paint correction, polishing techniques, compounds, pads, and polishing equipment.
- Ability to identify paint defects and ensure high-quality finishing.
- Good leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to plan work, solve problems, and meet deadlines.
- Basic computer skills are advantageous.
- Good communication skills in English.
- Hindi, Urdu, or Arabic language skills are advantageous.
Compensation
- Pay is AED 3,500–AED 5,000 per month.
Workplace
- Work is performed in person in Dubai, UAE.
