Senior Accountant role with full-time employment, based in Dubai, UAE.

Accounting and reporting
- Manage the general ledger and ensure accurate accounting entries.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements; lead month-end and year-end close.
- Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, prepayments, and provisions.
- Perform bank and balance-sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
- Conduct financial and variance analysis, budgeting, and forecasting; prepare ad hoc management reports.
Controls and coordination
- Support internal and external audits and provide required documentation.
- Ensure compliance with IFRS/GAAP, VAT and tax regulations, and company policies.
- Supervise and review junior accounting staff; monitor ERP systems and identify process improvements.
- Maintain strong internal controls and coordinate with Finance, Operations, Procurement, HR, auditors, and other stakeholders.
- Keep up to date on accounting standards, tax regulations, and financial best practices.
Experience
- 3–6 years of experience in accounting or finance.
- General ledger, financial reporting, reconciliations, VAT, and ERP systems experience is preferred.
Work location
- Work location is in person in Dubai, UAE.
