Role Overview

Key Responsibilities and Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Commerce; professional qualification such as CA, ACCA, CMA or equivalent is preferred.
• Minimum 5–10 years of progressive Finance & Accounts experience, preferably including an Accounts Manager or similar supervisory role.
• Strong preference for candidates with FMCG/distribution experience and exposure to multi-country GCC operations.
• Hands-on knowledge of inventory accounting, landed cost, customer receivables, supplier accounting, bank reconciliations, financial closing and management reporting.
• Good working knowledge of IFRS and practical exposure to GCC tax/VAT and statutory compliance requirements.
• Experience dealing with external auditors, tax advisors, banks and cross-functional operational teams.
• Strong ERP and advanced Excel skills; ability to work with large transaction volumes and multiple entities/currencies.
• Strong analytical, communication, follow-up and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Oversee inventory accounting, landed cost, customer receivables, supplier accounting, bank reconciliations, financial closing and management reporting.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS and GCC tax/VAT and statutory requirements.
• Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, banks and cross-functional operational teams.
• Manage large transaction volumes across multiple entities and currencies using ERP and advanced Excel.
• Supervise finance and accounts activities, including an Accounts Manager or similar supervisory scope.
