The accountant will manage day-to-day accounting operations, maintain accurate financial records, and support financial reporting and compliance.

Responsibilities
- Maintain accounting records and financial transactions; handle accounts payable and receivable.
- Prepare invoices, receipts, payment vouchers, and journal entries; perform bank and ledger reconciliations.
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual closing; prepare financial reports and management statements.
- Monitor outstanding receivables and payables and maintain transaction documentation.
- Assist with VAT calculations, VAT returns, and UAE tax compliance; coordinate with auditors and provide financial documents.
- Ensure compliance with UAE accounting standards and company policies; support budgeting and cash-flow monitoring.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Two to five years of relevant accounting experience.
- UAE experience is listed as required in the experience summary but preferred in the requirements list.
- Good knowledge of UAE VAT and basic tax regulations.
- Strong knowledge of MS Excel and accounting software or ERP systems.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and accuracy.
