ASTI Academy is seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join its finance team in Dubai.
The role supports accurate financial reporting, accounting practices, and strategic financial decisions.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and deliver accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, ensuring compliance and timely submissions.
- Conduct periodic bank and balance sheet reconciliations, investigating and resolving discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate general ledger records and review journal entries for adherence to financial policies.
- Assist with budget preparation, monitor financial performance against forecasts, and analyze variances.
- Oversee tax preparation, filings, and compliance, coordinating with external advisors as needed.
- Conduct financial feasibility studies and risk assessments to support business decisions.
- Mentor and guide junior team members to support their professional growth.
Qualifications and experience
- Have at least 6 years of accounting experience.
- Hold a master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Certifications are a plus.
Compensation
- Pay is AED 5,000–8,000 per month.
Work location
- Work location is in person in Dubai.
