The Senior Accountant will support accurate financial reporting, sound accounting practices, and strategic financial decisions as part of the finance team in Dubai.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, ensuring compliance and timely submission.
- Reconcile bank and balance sheet accounts, investigate discrepancies, and resolve them promptly.
- Maintain general ledger records and review journal entries for compliance with financial policies.
- Assist with budget preparation, monitor performance against forecasts, and analyze variances.
- Oversee tax preparation, filings, and compliance, coordinating with external advisors as needed.
- Conduct financial feasibility studies and risk assessments to support business decisions.
- Mentor and guide junior team members.
Qualifications and requirements
- At least 6 years of accounting experience is required.
- A master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
- Certifications are a plus.
Compensation
- Pay is AED 5,000–6,000 per month.
Workplace
- Work location is in person in Dubai.
