Security Risk Analyst (FTC)

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Support security governance, risk, and compliance frameworks and regulatory adherence across departments.
• Review security policies and standards as the threat and compliance landscape changes.
• Assess and document risks across products, platforms, third-party software, and services.
• Support audits and track findings and remediation to completion.
• Implement risk management and information security management system frameworks.
• Assess and approve remote-working requests; facilitate security and data governance meetings.
• Support ESG initiatives, third-party risk assessments, 3LoD activities, and crisis management exercises.
• Coordinate compliance requests from prospective and existing clients.
• Support privacy impact assessments and business continuity and disaster recovery transformation.
• Work in a cloud-first and agile business environment.

Required skills and experience

• Basic understanding and awareness of frameworks such as ISO 27001 and SOC 2.
• A flexible approach, strong work ethic, and willingness to support colleagues.
• A BSc or equivalent in Computer Science, IT, Systems Engineering, Risk Management, or a related field is desirable.
• Clear written and spoken communication, independent working, prioritization, motivation, interpersonal skills, and organization are desirable or expected.
• Must already have the right to work in the UK.
