Role purpose
Design the organisation’s computer and network security infrastructure and protect systems and sensitive information from cyber threats.
Security architecture and solutions
- Design enterprise cybersecurity strategy and architecture; evaluate business strategies, security requirements, vulnerabilities, and risks.
- Identify current and emerging threats, architecture gaps, and risks, then recommend mitigations or enhancements.
- Assess product fit and end-to-end security across layered security, zoning, integration, APIs, endpoints, data, compliance, and regulations.
- Support deployment, configuration, integration, and administration of security technologies; assist with recovery after security incidents.
- Develop solution directions and target states, evaluate integration options, and provide technical leadership for custom solutions.
- Create client RFPs, respond to proposals, provide design assurance, and support sales opportunities.
Stakeholder coordination and audit support
- Liaise with stakeholders on cybersecurity issues and provide timely support and recommendations.
- Help maintain information security risk registers and assist with internal and external audits.
- Support audits of security practices and implementation of security principles.
- Assist with cybersecurity awareness training for team members and customers, including malicious email awareness.
Mandatory skill
- SOC Analyst skills are listed as mandatory.
Experience and frameworks
