Key responsibilities
- Integrate SAST tools such as SonarQube, Semgrep, and Checkmarx into CI/CD pipelines to scan AI-generated code.
- Deploy and maintain secrets scanning, including Trufflehog and GitGuardian, on Claude Code outputs and repositories.
- Define and enforce secure code review gates for AI-assisted development.
- Provide developer-facing security guidance and embed security champions in engineering teams.
- Instrument Claude Code usage for security telemetry and feed data to SIEM.
- Support incident response for code-related security events.
- Support sales proposals, identify service opportunities, and help generate leads.
- Provide timely security breach resolution and customer-focused guidance.
Required skills and experience
- At least five years in DevSecOps or application security.
- Strong CI/CD pipeline experience with GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or similar.
- Experience with SAST, DAST, and secrets-scanning tools.
- Knowledge of OWASP Top 10 and secure coding practices.
- Python, Bash, or similar scripting experience.
- SOC Analyst is also listed as a mandatory skill in an additional section.
Desirable skills
- Familiarity with AI code-generation tools and their security implications is desirable.
- Supply-chain security experience, including SBOM or SLSA, is desirable.
- CSSLP or an equivalent certification is desirable.
Performance measures
Measures include timely security-breach resolution, customer and stakeholder experience, customer satisfaction, and security education.
Sales support measures include proposal quality, timely proposal support, lead generation, and proposals led.
