Seamstress/Tailor

Position overview

What you'll do

• Repair uniforms, linen, and other items to support a high-quality guest experience.
• Assist guests with tailoring requests and help the Valet team sew buttons and repair minor damage.
• Issue, alter, label, order, collect, and track uniforms for colleagues according to department and employee uniform numbers.
• Inspect items for cleanliness, stains, and damage; support laundry and the linen room as needed.
• Ensure new employees sign for uniforms and receive sets according to standards.
• Keep paperwork current and prepare monthly reports on uniforms sent out.
• Maintain inventories and record missing, damaged, stained, or discarded items; follow up on outstanding and unreturned laundry items.
• Keep work areas clean, tidy, and correctly stocked.

What you'll bring

• At least three years of experience in the luxury hotel field.
• High school education and experience working for luxury hotels.
• Comfortable communicating in English, the primary language used at the hotel.
• Computer literate; organized, articulate, adaptable, and able to multitask.
• Attention to detail, strong interpersonal and communication skills, and a guest-service ethic.
• Hands-on team player who is passionate, dynamic, and able to adapt to a changing environment.
