About This Role
Position Overview
We are seeking skilled and customer-focused Sandwich Makers to join our Food & Beverage team. The role involves preparing fresh, high-quality sandwiches and light meals, ensuring consistency in taste, presentation, and hygiene standards. Candidates must demonstrate speed, attention to detail, and a commitment to premium service standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble sandwiches, wraps, and light snacks according to standardized recipes and customer preferences.
- Ensure all ingredients are fresh, properly stored, and handled in compliance with food safety standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workstation, equipment, and utensils.
- Monitor stock levels of sandwich ingredients and report shortages to supervisors.
- Uphold hygiene, HACCP, and Qatar Municipality food safety regulations at all times.
- Provide friendly and efficient service when interacting with customers.
- Assist in menu innovation by suggesting new sandwich combinations or seasonal specials.
- Support kitchen team in general food preparation and outlet operations when required.
Qualifications & Skills
- Previous experience as a Sandwich Maker, Kitchen Assistant, or similar role in the F&B sector preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety, hygiene practices, and HACCP compliance.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Good communication skills and customer service orientation.
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.
Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Speed & Accuracy: Orders prepared within set service time without errors.
- Quality & Consistency: Sandwiches meet taste, portion, and presentation standards.
- Hygiene Compliance: Zero food safety violations during inspections.
- Customer Satisfaction: Positive feedback and repeat orders.
- Waste Control: Minimal ingredient wastage through proper handling and portioning.
