MADI International seeks a commercially driven Salon Business Development Partner to manage and grow a portfolio of partner salons and spas.
The role focuses on client relationships, sales growth, salon business performance, and brand presence in the professional beauty industry.
Responsibilities
- Manage partner salon and spa accounts and build relationships with owners and managers.
- Coach partners on retail-to-service ratio, retail sales per client, average ticket value, rebooking rates, and colour and back-bar product usage.
- Drive sell-in and sell-through through launches, promotions, stock planning, and merchandising.
- Identify salon education needs and coordinate with the Education team.
- Ensure brand standards for back-bar commitment, in-salon service rituals, and visual merchandising.
- Recruit and onboard salon partners, including salons using competitor brands.
- Monitor performance, identify growth opportunities, and develop plans to achieve sales targets.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field is preferred.
- 3–5 years of relevant sales, business development, or account management experience in professional beauty, haircare, or salons.
- Experience managing salon or spa accounts and relationships with business owners and decision-makers.
- Strong knowledge of salon operations, retail sales, professional haircare products, and salon performance KPIs.
- Ability to achieve sales targets, grow accounts, acquire business, and negotiate effectively.
- Strong communication, presentation, relationship-building, analytical, and problem-solving abilities; commercially minded, proactive, and results-oriented.
- Ability to travel locally to visit salon partners; a valid driving license is mandatory.
