Work with area sales managers to achieve sales objectives for investment and insurance products.
Prepare client meetings, respond to product information requests, and educate customers about company products.
Responsibilities
- Follow up after sales managers' meetings and business development activities; arrange customer appointments and answer product questions.
- Prepare client illustrations and investment suggestions, and participate in promotional events and follow-up.
- Help customers plan for retirement, assess investment risk and risk tolerance, and recommend solutions aligned with personal objectives.
- Contact group retirement savings plan members nearing or entering retirement and explain retirement income options.
- Build positive customer experiences and deepen relationships; use computer and database systems and keep current on products, policies, and procedures.
Required profile
- Communicate and build relationships while providing excellent service; demonstrate written communication ability.
- Work autonomously and collaboratively, maintain quality, take initiative, and be results-oriented.
- One year of sales experience is preferred.
- Bilingualism is an asset; English is preferred.
Compensation and benefits
- Full-time role with pay listed as $50,000 per year; additional pay may include bonus and commission.
- Benefits listed include dental care, health and disability coverage, RRSP match, flexible scheduling, and work from home.
Work location
- Work location is described as hybrid remote in Truro and hybrid remote in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia.
