Role Overview

The Sales Manager leads regional sales and business development activities across the GCC region. This role is responsible for executing sales strategies while managing key customer relationships in the oil and gas, petrochemical, energy, and industrial sectors. The position requires a strong combination of technical knowledge in integrally geared centrifugal compressors and proven sales leadership capabilities. The role is based in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, or within the GCC region and involves frequent regional travel.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute regional sales strategies to achieve sales targets for engineered turbo compressors
  • Manage and monitor sales performance in alignment with business objectives and market conditions
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with key clients, including end users and EPC companies
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities while expanding existing customer accounts
  • Provide technical and commercial proposals through solution-based selling approaches
  • Review customer inquiries and prepare budgetary and final quotations with internal engineering teams
  • Represent Hanwha Power at customer meetings, industry events, and trade shows

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in turbomachinery or rotating equipment sales
  • Proven sales experience in the oil and gas, chemical, petrochemical, power, or industrial sectors in the Middle East
  • Strong understanding of integrally geared centrifugal compressor technology
  • Business-level proficiency in English with strong communication and negotiation skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of API standards, including API 617, API 672, and API 614
  • Experience with instrument air and process gas compressor applications
  • Solid understanding of turbomachinery control and auxiliary systems
